Atsushi［Discrowd］
1988年生まれ。佐賀出身。テクノDJ。2006年、タイのパンガン島にてダンスミュージックと空間、パーティとそこに集まる人々の、そのこにいる人々しか感じることができない巨大なパワーに魅せられ、帰国後まもなく福岡にてDJとして活動を始めた。DJを始めたばかりの頃の彼は、 psychedelic trance DJとしてプレイしていたが、元々ダンスミュージックをジャンル問わず聴いていた彼は、次第にテクノの持つ柔軟性と創造性に溢れた音に惹かれて今に至った。最近のDJでは、全体的に低く厚みがあるベースで、規則的にときに不規則に鳴る上音で持ち上げる選曲をAtsushi自身が思い描く「テクノ」の解釈でダンスフロアーに提供している。そしてその、ダンスミュージックによって生まれる色々な繋がりがどれほど刺激的で、強いパワーなのかをタイ起案してもらうために、福岡を拠点に精力的に活動している。2010年には福岡発亜細亜電子音楽祭「ASIAN FORCE@yumla(香港)」にも出演を果たし、さらなる経験を積んで帰ってきた。また2011年より始まった、テクノ・ハウスを主体としたパーティ「Discrowd」の一首謀者。そして、2年ほど前よりオリジナルトラックの作成を始め、更なるステップに進む彼に期待がかかる。

90年代後半のClub Jazzシーンに衝撃を受け、2000年頃より地元福岡のクラブ”Kieth Flack”を中心にDJ活動を開始。生音寄りのスタイルから、幅広い音楽に触れその雑食性を高め、次第にジャンル問わず様々なパーティーでプレイする様になる。2000年代中頃からはDisco Dub, Tech House, Minimal, Technoなどよりエレクトロニックなダンスミュージックに傾倒し、2006年の秋に拠点を香港に移す。
香港でもその幅広い選曲とフレキシブルなDJスタイルを活かし、大箱・小箱・ホテル・野外・船など場所や規模を問わず様々なパーティーでプレイ。あらゆる人種が小さな島の中に混在する香港という大都市でインスピレーションを膨らませ、独自の感覚で音楽を吸収し続け活動。新旧・ジャンルを問わず良質な音楽からの影響を大量のアルコールと共に、Disco・House・Technoといった4つ打ちのダンスミュージックに落とし込み、Deep・Spacy・Tribal・Funkyな「質感」に変えて行くDJスタイル。また2008年以降は香港と日本の間で様々なDJやパーティーのブッキングやコーディネートも手掛け、2009年より始動したパーティー”Asian Force”では福岡と香港にてプロモーターとして両都市で活動。
2010年秋に地元福岡に帰国し、その直後には代官山AirにてゲストDJとしてプレイ。現在はKieth Flackのハウスミュージックパーティー”Nex”、不定期開催の”HxGxT”でレジデントDJを務めながら、年に数回香港でもプレイし続けている。また楽曲制作も再開し、福岡親不孝通りに根を張り活動中。

2004年頃からDJを開始したが名義をコロコロ変える為なかなか定着しない事に気づいた近年はAbstract、Dub、Drone、民族音楽などを中心に様々な音源をMIX。
現在は第5土曜日にCLUB BASEにてPSK PUB \超能力酒場を開催中。毎日、寝たり起きたりの多忙な日々を送っている。

Techhouseを軸にdeepでダビーに活動中。

ATHED and 瞬極殺 (Shunbokusatsu) continue Air’s 10 year anniversary celebrations by presenting special guest

DMX Krew (Rephlex / Breakin’ Records – London U.K)

DMX Krew’s (aka EDMX ) journey began back in 1983 when a young Ed Upton purchased a Kraftwerk 7″ and saw his path was going to be electronic music. By the mid-90s the current moniker had been adopted and he was gaining a reputation for his early releases of rough but effective pastiches of spare street-level electro from the glory days. Two decades on and DMX’s name graces 6 full albums and numerous singles on Aphex Twin’s label Rephlex records as well as tracks on International Deejay Gigolos, Ersatz Audio, Sonic Groove and Tiga’s Turbo recordings to name a few. He continues to release the majority of his musical output on his own label Breakin’ Records which he has run since 1997 as well as more recently starting Fresh Up which specialises in 7″ vinyl releases of vintage-sounding funk. His productions vary from drum & bass & jungle to ’80s pastiche pop, Chicago & Detroit influenced sounds as well as straight up techno & electro. His live sets tend to focus on the more retro acid and experimental side of the EDMX persona whereas his DJ sets are more dancefloor focused and he’s gained a reputation as an ever reliable and exciting party starter. Japan, like many countries around the globe, has welcomed DMX Krew on several occasions with a highlight being WIRE in Tokyo where 8000 people witnessed him play alongside the likes of Derrick May and Denki Groove. This is the first time that Fukuoka has been included on his tour, so don’t miss!

Supporting DMX Krew in the main room playing live will be ATHED ally hard off (fuckoka – Australia) and DJ wise we have AnammastrA [obscure!/fog] and Moriyama [Hong-Pang making their ATHED débuts as well as Dr Phreak [Soundproof - Canada] who really blew our minds at last month’s 2nd anniversary party. ATHED resident Akko will be performing her debut live set which has got us all very excited and fellow resident Das will also be on deck duties to get the party started nicely!

Upstairs bar hosted by Shimbokusatsu with DJs, MCs, interactive TV game and maids! Looking like lots of fun!

As many of you already know, here at ATHED HQ we are always looking for something a little different to the norm.

For our 11th outing we have cast our net further afield than our own fair city and enticed this month’s guests ‘Rama’ and ’44′ from their homes of Nagasaki and Kurume respectively to join us for another instalment of rave-tastic fun and dancefloor frolics.

Rama has been making waves in Nagasaki of late with his new project Love Parade which has already hosted Detroit legends Claude Young and Kevin Saunderson for it’s first two events. We’re excited about hearing his sleazy deep stripped back sexy house and techno on Tsuti’s much loved ‘Wall of Bass’ system.

44 is part of the NTRL crew as well as playing the ‘Climber’s High’ party which takes place, yep, up a mountain! Known for his wide taste in music, interesting selection and solid mixing, 44 will no doubt be a welcome addition to the enjoyment of the evening.

Plus our new resident Kakky who did a grand job helping Akko and the Girls out at our August ‘Girls ♥ ATHED’ party and has now been officially indoctrinated into the team following a strange initiation routine involving a bottle of tequila, a 303 and a flock of black swans.

He joins Akko who is back from enjoying X-102, Derrick May and others at Metamorphose as well as Das now back from his summer break in the UK.

So people with the line-up complete, new decor constructed, mighty fine music hunted down it’s time to party. See you Saturday!

重低音とＥＸＩＬＥ Ｔａｋａｈｉｒｏをこよなく愛する小さなｊａｎｇｌｉｓｔ。
近頃、体力の衰えの為、ｄｕｂｓｔｅｐに移行中。

2007年よりMAD HOUSEにて活動を開始。ジャンルよりも感性を軸にした、雑食的な選曲を好む。プレイスタイルはアナログ一筋という、長崎が生んだ皿ガール。

ATHED.org has been on the air for over a year now, woo! Unfortunately, I, Dr. Rek will be returning to America and handing over the party reigns to Das Funkt and AKKO. Don’t worry the party will continue, ATHED 10 is on 8/7 and an announcement will be up soon. In the meantime, here are the mp3z from my last ATHED. Featuring a live acid set by me, as well and an extended two hour DJ set.
The guest DJ sets from Montea and naooooya, as well as the resident DJ sets from Das and AKKO are also not to be missed.

Sorry we haven’t had time to write everyone a full report yet, but let it be known that ATHED 8 was epic.
All the residents were on point. Oracle vs. Little Side Effects set was pure ear candy.
Atsushi Tanno’s 3 hour vinyl set was non-stop classics, the most ATHEDic guest we have had yet!
Unfortunately the first hour of his set (and last five minutes of the Oracle vs LSE live set) was accidentally not recorded, but we are proud to present over two hours of it.

After last weekend’s special party at Decadent Deluxe featuring Moodman, the only techno party taking advantage of Tsuti’s awesome wall of bass sound system returns with local boy Montea as guest alongside Naooooya from Nagasaki’s Mad house party.
ATHED’s kingpin Dr Rek will be performing his live acid show honed from his recent US tour and residents Akko and Das will be in support.
GUC from Ballroom takes care of the VJing and you guys do the dancing!

4歳よりバイオリンを弾き始め、16歳からロックバンドのベーシストに転向し、18歳より並行してDJとしての音楽活動を開始。以降8年間に、”DERRICK MAY、CHRIS LIEBING、ISHINO TAKKYU、KEN ISHI、TANAKA FUMIYA、KITSUNE、Dan F、等と競演し、2005年には、年間120本以上のDJを行う。”テクノ、ミニマル、トライバル・ファンキー・エレクトロハウス、”をブレンドしたプレイスタイルは、想像も出来ない空間に放り出されながらも、必ずハッピーエンドを迎えるストーリーを紡ぎだし、数多くのオーディエンスに愛され、また憎まれ続けている。今年で4年目となる自身のパーティ”KYUSHU FORCE”では、DJ、オーガナイズ、ビジュアル作成、プロモーションを遂行しつつ、2010年には、パーティ発のレーベル”KSF”を設立。レーベルオーナーとして、地元のアーティストの紹介・リリース、新人アーティストの育成等の活動も予定している。日々アジアと日本を結ぶ入り口である福岡を盛り上げ中。
